During drydock completed October 23, 2016 upgrades were made, including Marvel Super Hero enhancements to the Oceaneer Club, a jazzy Princess Tiana-themed restaurant was added as well as an adults-only English pub. In October 2017 the following staterooms have been reclassified to Concierge Category V: 8024, 8044, 8050, 8076, 8082, 8084, 8524, 8544, 8550, 8584.
During Sept 2019 drydock changes included a new French Quarter Lounge, Club for teens, and adult only Cove Café.

There are plenty of fun things to do on this ship for all ages. There are kids pools and adults-only pool areas, a 200 ft waterslide, basketball court, volleyball area, and walking/jogging track.
For a little relaxation, the Vista Spa & Salon complex offers massages, facials, and treatments as well as a sauna and steam rooms. There are also 3 new private spa villas for the most exclusive spa treatments and include a private verandah and jacuzzi.
Organized activities include kids programming in separate age appropriate areas, family dance parties, karaoke, funny game shows, scavenger hunts, and a Disney 3D movie experience. When the ship heads to Alaska, there are special Junior Ranger programs about the wildlife and environment. At night, the Walt Disney Theater offers large production shows.
Adults-only entertainment includes a dance club, wine and martini tastings, karaoke, a piano bar, and plenty of other lounges and bar areas.

- Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas, cabins, and balconies. Note: On the Magic and Wonder the smoking area is Deck 9 forward port side, Deck 4 starboard from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. On the Dream and Fantasy smoking is permitted Deck 12 port side near Currents Bar. Deck 12 port side aft (outdoor area accessed through Meridian Lounge), Deck 4 portside aft (outside promenade) from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
