Silver Cloud started sailing in 1994. Former names: none. The Silver Cloud is registered
in Nassau, Bahamas. The Silver Cloud has 126 cabins.

Other Information
This is the first and oldest ship owned by Silversea. Sister ship is Silver Wind. It joined the Silversea Expeditions fleet in October 2017.
During 2017 drydock $40 million was spent transforming ship into an expedition cruise ship. The Zagara Beauty Spa was added. A Photo Studio (which teaches cruisers to edit and manage photos) was added. The steel exterior was reinforced for sailing in ice conditions. The bow was replaced with a reinforced ice-class bulb. Underwater sonar was added to detect ice and other impediments. New windows were added to help resist polar temperatures. 10 vista suites were taken out of service on deck 4. 2 vistas suites taken out of service on deck 5. Removed 12 vistas suites on deck 6 and 12 vistas suites on deck 7 and converted to 12 silver suites. Reclass 2 silver suites to Medallion suites.
The ships max capacity is now 260. There are 151 stateroom/suites on board, with 75% of them having a balcony. All suites offer LCD Tvs, direct-dial phones, safes, and walk-in closets. Owners, Royal, and Grand Suites have full-sized jacuzzi, guest powder room, and an assigned butler. All food, wine, alcohol, 24-hour room service, WiFi, and gratuities are included in the fare.

La Terrazza- buffet-style, indoor/outdoor seating, Italian specialty for dinner with reservations only

During the day, guests can enjoy the saltwater pool, sunbathing area, 2 jacuzzis, and table tennis. There is also a walking track, golf cage, and putting green, as well as a fully stocked fitness center. The ship also has an entire fleet of large-capacity inflatable boats that are used for shore explorations. For a little relaxation, the spa offers plenty of treatments, a steam room, and a sauna as well as a beauty salon.
Nightly entertainment can be found in the Show Lounge which offers live productions, at The Bar which offers a large dance floor and live performances, and the Panorama Lounge that offers music and dancing. There is also a casino that offers plenty of entertainment.
