Built in 2004, this is the oldest ship in the Galapagos fleet. Sister ships are Celebrity Xploration and Celebrity Flora. Since the ship is smaller than the larger cruise ships, it is able to visit smaller ports to allow for more selection.
In 2012 Celebrity added staterooms to the sunrise deck, including moving the Penthouse Suite up to the sunrise deck.
During Sep 2018 drydock rooms received new carpet, RFID locks, WI-FI upgrade. The Beagle Grill received new furniture and lights. A Video Wall was added to the Discovery Lounge. New lights and carpets in the Darwin Dining Room. Water Filtration system added to each deck.
There are 49 staterooms total on board, with the largest being the Penthouse Suites.
Cruise fare is all inclusive and offers complimentary beer, liquor, soft drinks, house wine, and all gratuities and shore excursions. Dining options on board are the Darwin Restaurant and Beagles Restaurant & Grill which both offer gourmet options, organic vegetables, and fresh fish.
Entertainment venues on board include a library, a stage (at the Discovery Lounge & Bar) which hosts presentations and lectures given by naturalists, a spa with a hot tub and sauna, and a sunning area on the Sunrise Deck. There is also a fitness area, gift shop, Beauty centre, internet cafe, and a Beach Club which launches Zodiacs and stores snorkeling and diving equipment.
