Holland America Signature Class Verandah Cabin Walk Thru
This is a quick walk thru of Verandah staterooms for the Holland America cruise ship Signature class. Class names such as Signature class defines similar ships within the Holland America fleet. Scroll down to view photos and descriptions for the Verandah category.
Looking back in the other direction from the sofa area. The cabin door is in the distance. To the right of the door is the bathroom. To the left is the closet area.
The balcony will have two chairs, a table and footstool. The railing is clear glass.
This is the sink in a balcony cabin bathroom. There are shelves above the sink and a larger shelf below the sink.
The toilet and shower is shown here. Notice the shower is a tub/shower combination. The shower head is adjustable.

Some balconies on this ship will have a solid steel railing. This will block your view when sitting down.

The queen bed can be separated into two twin size beds.
Balconies on deck 11 are small Juliette style.
It is difficult to put furniture on these balconies.
A few cabins on this ship have extra wide balconies for the same price as a normal balcony. You can tell if a balcony is extra wide by looking at the deck plans.

Aft facing balconies are also extra large. These are a popular choice especially in Alaska because they tend to be sheltered from the wind.
Some balconies will view out onto the top of the lifeboats. Notice that these balconies found on deck 5 also have a overhang from the deck above that will shade the balcony. Notice also in this picture the balcony partitions of some of the cabins are opened.

Each cabin has its own climate control dial.

In some cabins is a pullman. This is a bed that pulls down from the ceiling when needed. This particular cabin can sleep 4 people.

The personal safe is in the closet area. There are other shelves for storage.
There are also hangers for clothing.
