Officially christened in 2003 by Her Dutch Royal Highness, Princess Margriet of the Netherlands, the ms Oosterdam is the second in our series of Vista-class ships. As such she embraces the latest industry and environmental technologies such as her use of a diesel-electric power plant for optimal energy efficiency and an Azipod propulsion system that maximizes maneuverability.
During April 2016 drydock 18 balcony cabins and 9 inside cabins were added to the Observation Deck.

The Main StageThe ship's theatre with 2 shows nightly timed for early and late dining. It features dancers, illusionists, vocalists and comedians.
Vista Dining RoomThe ship's Main Dining Room located over 2 tiers on decks 2 and 3. Open for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, the restaurant offers a choice of either traditional pre-set seating and dining times or the ships "As You Wish" freedom dining.
Explorers LoungeAn intimate lounge convenient for pre dinner cocktails. The ship's Adagio Strings classical quartet play a range of classical and contemporary music in this lounge.
Pinnacle GrillAn intimate reservations only additional charge restaurant. Charges for eating here are $10 per head for lunch and $25 per head for dinner. Under 12's eat free whilst teens cost 50% of the adult charges. Dishes on offer range from premium sterling silver beef, filet mignon and jumbo prawns, and broiled lobster tail to Caesar salad and lobster bisque for starters and chocolate and raisin bread and butter pudding or baked Alaska for dessert.
Queens Lounge & Culinary Arts CenterA multi purpose venue with its own bar and hosting a number of activities including gourmet cooking lessons in the state of the art demonstration kitchen, wine tasting and line dancing.
CasinoHas a number of games tables, slots and electronic gaming machines and is served by the casino bar.
Billboard OnboardLarge bar and lounge (with Piano) located in casino area. This venue has shows performed by live musicians (guitarist, DJ, pianists). It is centered around facts and figures of musical history. Created in Dec 2016 drydock, this venue combines the former Sports Bar and the former Piano Bar.
Gallery BarReplaces Northern Lights Disco. Bar and lounge area close to casino. Features an exclusive cocktail menu by Dale DeGroff and decorated with still-life, landscape, portrait and abstract pieces of art.
