The cruise line seperates the different categories (Inside, Oceanview, Balcony) into subcategories. The only difference in the subcategories is usually location on the ship. You will find diagrams, pictures and information about that cabin category including square footage and features.
Carnival uses a two digit code for its stateroom categories. The first letter represents the type of cabin. 1=Small Interior, 4=Interior, 6=Oceanview, 7=Cove Balcony, 8=Balcony, 9=Premium Balcony. The second letter represents the desired location with A being the least desirable.
As an example a 4J (Interior cabin) is in a more desirable location than a 4A (Interior cabin).

Carnival WaterWorksExpanded water park featuring the Kaleid-O-Slide, Carnivals first raft-riding water tube slide. Passengers will zip along the 455ft waterslide on one- or two-person rafts, hitting twists and turns with kaleidoscopic visual effects. Carnivals Twister Waterslide: 300' long, spiraling water slide (minimum height: 42 inches / maximum weight: 265 pounds). SplashZone: expansive spray park with varied water spray apparatus for smaller children and families. 300-gallon Power Drencher: tipping bucket. Mini Racer Slides for Children (minimum height: 36 inches). Surrounding areas with lounge chairs for sun and relaxing.
SportSquareLighted multi-purpose area includes a full basketball court, volleyball court and Dodge Ball. Also location of 2-lane mini bowling (for a fee), ping-pong, Foosball, arcade basketball (for a fee), pool tables, twister, shuffleboard. There is also a bar with pass-through window.
Cloud9 SpaSpa located deck 12 forward and deck 14 forward. Features fitness center with state of the art cycling studio. Open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Salon, men and women saunas, locker rooms, relaxation room, treatment rooms, VIP suite with whirlpool, thalassotherapy pool, thermal suites.
The ClubhouseTwo lane mini bowling, ping pong, foosball, arcade basketball, pool tables, twister, shuffleboard, bar with pass-through window.

Sky CourseTwo-230 foot rope courses located on Deck 14, nearly 150 feet above the sea. Guests strap into a safety harness and choose a beginner or intermediate course, traversing across rope bridges, swinging steps and beams suspended above the top deck. Weight limit: 275 pounds / Height minimum: 48 inches.
Sky RideRecumbent 2-lane, 800 foot bicycle course that extends the whole aft section of the deck. 4 single rider bicycles with pedal functionality that allows riders to control speed and bike swivels when turning corners. The bicycle is approximately 150 foot above the water line. Weight limit: 300 pounds / Height minimum: 48 inches.
Sky FitnessOutdoor exercise equipment located aft of deck 12.
Fitness CenterOffers a range of treadmills, cardio vascular and weight machines along with a separate aerobics room for fitness classes.
Seaside TheatreLocated midship on deck 10 to 12. Large 12 foot by 22 foot LED outdoor TV screen. During evening hours blankets and popcorn is provided to watch Dive-In Movies.
