CARNIVAL SPIRIT is the first of the 8000 series of ships built by Carnival for their own use and for sister company Costa. In 2012 Carnival transfered this ship to Australia to sail year round.
In August 2015 the Carnival Spirit had a $47 million dollar upgrade that included three new bars and five new restaurants as well as a Seaside Theatre. This included Blue Iguana Cantana, Guys Burger Joint, Blue Iguana Tequila Bar, Redfrog Rum Bar (all on the Lido Deck). Also added Redfrog Pub, Alchemy Bar and Skybox Sports Bar to the Promenade Deck. Club Cool Jazz Club, Artist Lobby and Champions Sports Bar were removed.

Alchemy BarServes a range of cocktails served at the unique vintage-themed cocktail pharmacyŁ. Seats 30 guests.
RedFrog PubSample Caribbean fare, dominate at the foosball table, enjoy some sweet tunes from live musicians and sip our tasty signature private-label brew, ThirstyFrog Red.
Skybox Sports BarSports bar that offers beverage service and snacks. Has big screen TV's showing live sports events and real-time scores from across the sports world.
