The Queen Mary started sailing in 2003 . The Queen Mary has 1313 cabins. 73 percent of the staterooms on board have balconies.
You can expect 3151 passengers on a typical sailing. This means that the Queen Mary has a space ratio of 48 . (A space ratio less than 33 means that you may find the ship crowded in areas. A space ratio greater than 39 means that there should be plenty of space for each passenger.)
The Queen Mary has 1253 crew members on board. There are 3 passengers for every crew member on board. There are self serve laudromats on this ship. The ship has 4 pools and 6 hot tubs.

QUEEN MARY 2 was delivered to Cunard on 22nd December 2003 and her maiden voyage was to Ft Lauderdale from Southampton on 12th January 2004.

Cabin 4001 - Room is at the very front of the passenger section of deck 4, and has a large window, but no balcony. However, lack of a balcony adds floor space to the cabin, making it larger than the pricier balcony rooms. There was ample furniture and floor space for four people in this relatively cheap cabin. There are even two extra pull-down beds in the ceiling. It is about 18.5 m2, including two twin beds (queen sized bed), chesterfield, arm chair, two side tables, one centre table, one desk and chair, and three closets and drawers. The bathroom is large enough for two people to be in.

Cabin 6151 - Although this Atrium cabin was considered a top of the line inside cabin the beauty was you had a window overlooking the grand lobby. Was never noisy even being next to the elevators. A great cabin without the outside cabin price.
