You can expect 2414 passengers on a typical sailing. This means that the Norwegian Spirit has a space ratio of 31.2 . (A space ratio less than 33 means that you may find the ship crowded in areas. A space ratio greater than 39 means that there should be plenty of space for each passenger.)
The Norwegian Spirit has 1125 crew members on board. There are 2 passengers for every crew member on board. There are no self serve laundromats on this cruise ship. The ship has 2 pools and 4 hot tubs.
The ship last major refurbishment was in 2011.

Cabins and balconies are sort of small, but this ship has lots of cool features. :)
Cabin 9632. Good location to either end of ship. Plenty of closet space, although not enough hangers for 13-nighter. Shelves in closet, drawers in coffee nook and nightstand. Safe. Coffee maker. Large, comfortable bed, but I like them hard, and fluffy. Warm white comforter. Air conditioning and heating worked great. Bathroom had separate shower with sliding glass door on left, sink in middle with glass shelving on both sides of mirror and commode with sliding glass door to right.
This is one of my favorite ships. The promenade deck is wide with alot of character. I love the bridge viewing area. Plenty of deck space. The whole ship is well laid out and plenty of great seats in the stardust theater.
Cabin 6522 - Wonderful cabin. Loved the big window for watching the scenery go by.
Cabin 8017 - Cabin was very tight for 4 people. Only one pullman from wall, other pullman is small sofa which just takes up way to much floor space. Bathroom is well designed. Limited drawer space.
Cabin 10576 - Cabin was small, but comfortable for two. Bathroom well designed. Little drawer space, some shelf space. Housekeeping was excellent. Ship is wonderful to cruise on with many neat features. Entertainment was excellent and food was good.
Here is a picture from the bridge viewing area

Cabins 9551and 9051 on the other side of stairs were larger than other inside cabins.
Cabin 4580 - There is a LOUD heavy metal door next to the cabin for pilots to get in and out of the ship every time when the ship docks and leaves. They will come in about an hour before docking and leave an hour after sailing away.

Cabin 9196 is below the kids club. You can clearly hear the little ones running, playing, jumping, crashing, knocking, etc. during the day. It is also above the main show lounge and you can hear the base, vocals, drums, applause and announcements during the shows.
This ship was really cool and I thought the rooms were very spacious, I think they need to update their menu selections, though but overall, great ship!
