Cabin 1608 is below Deck 11 which has pools, etc. Our experience was perfect. Our suite was midship, near the stairs/elevators, which led straight up to the Windjammer Buffet so it was very convenient. I was told when reserving, that the rooms are supposed to be noise proof, and behold, No noise problem at all.
Cabin 1256 - Great suite on port side of ship - deck 10. 5 staterooms from forward elevators (no noise) for great accessibility.
